Under our original name of Vision Value we came to York in 1995 to provide the very best in eyecare and eyewear. As a family owned and operated business our partners have together more than 100 years of optical experience.
We take great pride in our reputation for providing exceptional care and service. Our professionals are all fully qualified, conducting comprehensive eye examinations using the latest technology and our registered dispensing opticians and experienced optical advisors provide superior levels of friendly service.
As independent opticians we are able to make our own choices of which brands and styles of frames we stock, as well as being able to dispense the latest in spectacle lenses. Every frame that we supply, including sunglasses, is adjusted to give a bespoke fit to each individual patient. This ensures that optimum comfort and visual clarity is achieved. In addition, our designer ranges come with a 2 year warranty against manufacturing faults and we are able to provide replacement parts should this service be required. We always provide free adjustments and minor repairs to all our frames.
In 2013 we undertook a major refurbishment and completed the fresh image with the new name of ‘Vision Optics’.
